Army of the Dead was one of the great premieres of 2021 for the Netflix streaming service and is already among the most-watched film on the platform. This project by Zack Snyder was one of the most anticipated projects as the fans were eagerly waiting for the release.
However, in the last few hours came great theories that can explain many things.
If you haven’t watched Army of the Dead yet, then here is the synopsis of the film, “A group of mercenaries decides to carry out the largest heist ever held in the city of Las Vegas right after an epidemic of the undead occurs. To do this, they will have to enter a quarantine zone, with the risks that entail.”
Army of the Dead Theories
The most talked-about theory was that team members are trapped in a time loop. Snyder explained that not everything is real, “There is a possibility – and I’m not saying this is 100% true, and somehow it’s not – but in the group at the table, I mean, it’s subtle sweet potato, but that’s them too at the table as well as… they go further and further. For example, ‘is this the moment when you got to the money?”
Another of the most talked theory was about why alpha and smart zombies have blue eyes. “It was a way to make them fresh, while they still postpone the zombie canon in some way,” Zack said at the time. One theory states that Zeus, the leader who moves at the beginning of the film and escapes, is an experiment and would be an alien.
On the other hand, there are those who claim that they are actually zombie robots. Here is what the filmmaker has to say, “You go to normal zombies and then you see some zombie robots. Are these monitors that the government has placed among the zombies to monitor them? Are they technology from the other world? What’s going on?” This invites it to be androids, although it would not explain how the leader has a baby.
