Actor Janhvi Kapoor is currently busy shooting for the upcoming film, Good Luck Jerry in Patiala, Punjab. As per some fresh reports, the shooting is stalled as some farmers came to the location and demanded the actor to come in support of them. This is the second time the shooting for the film was stalled in Punjab. Earlier this month, the film’s shoot had been similarly halted near Fatehgarh Sahib.
This time the incident took place near Patiala, Punjab where some local farmers reached the location and raised slogans against the shooting of the film in the city. After some time, they also reached the hotel where the cast and crew of the film were staying and started raising slogans. They were trying to force Janhvi to support their cause.
As per the source report by Times Of India, “This is not an issue against any actor of film, the farmers wanted them to support their cause since agriculture is something that affects everyone. Not just Janhvi, they also demanded that other Bollywood actors too should come out in support of the farmers.”
However, the farmers were not aware of the fact that Janhvi Kapoor had shared an Instagram story in support of the farmers and had posted, “Farmers are at the heart of our country. I recognise and value the role that they play in feeding our nation. I hope a resolution is reached soon that benefits the farmers.”
Since Instagram stories disappear after 24 hours, these farmers were not aware of the fact. After some talks, the situation came under control and the shooting resumed.
