Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut‘s personal bodyguard Kumar Hegde has been booked in Mumbai for sexual harassment allegations. The victim alleged that the accused forced her to have sex with false promise of marrying her.
Actress Kangana Ranaut’s personal bodyguard Kumar Hegde has been accused of sexual abuse. A case has been registered against him at DN Nagar police station in Mumbai. A beautician is said to have accused him of sexual abuse. Police have registered a case under Sections 376 (Rape), 377 (Unnatural Physical Relations) and 420 (Cheating) of IPC.
As per the victim’s statement, she came in contact with Kumar Hegde 8 years ago. He had promised her to get married in June last year. The woman has alleged that the accused came to her flat on several occasions and had forced physical relations.
The woman also alleged that she had given Rs 50,000 to the accused on April 27. He then fled to Karnataka. When the victim got in touch with the mother of the accused, she came to know that he was marrying someone else. However, the victim also alleged that her mother asked her to stay away from the accused.
As per the report, the beautician says that when the relationship between the two started moving forward, the accused started ignoring her. He had taken the money by talking about emergency. After that, he then stopped contacting the victim.
The report said that a few days ago the mother of the accused received a call and refused to marry the victim to her son. She also said that she has found a girl for Kumar. According to reports, the accused is already absconding before the case is registered. He has not been contacted so far. Police have started investigation.
As of now, there is no official statement from Kangana on this matter. The actress is currently in her hometown Manali and recently tested negative for Covid—19.
