Even before the beginning of IPL 2021, David Warner-led Sunrisers Hyderabad gets a major shock. Australian allrounder Mitchell Marsh has long refused to stay in the Corona protocol and due to which will not be part of the Hyderabad team this season.
As per the latest reports, Marsh has also given the information to BCCI and IPL franchises a few days ago.
If Marsh participated in the IPL, he would have to undergo a 7-day quarantine after arriving in India from Australia and then he would also have to stay in the bio-force during the 50-day tournament. Because of this, Marsh withdrew his name from the league.
Marsh was bought by the Hyderabad team for Two crore rupees in IPL auction 2020. Last season, Marsh had been out of the tournament after the first match due to injury. In his place, Hyderabad had replaced Australian allrounder Jason Holder in the team.
The first match of Sunrisers Hyderabad is against Kolkata Knight Riders on April 11.
